🏆 Former Knicks Center Mitchell Robinson Inks 3-Year $47.4M Deal With Celtics

The Celtics finally made a splash in the paint locking down 8 year big man Mitchell Robinson from the 2025-2026 NBA Champion New York Knicks. He ranked 13th in the NBA last season pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game. He's also a decent shot blocker averaging 1.2 swats per game and an elite 1.7 BPG for his career. He fills the immediate void that the Celtics have desperately been lacking, a veteran presence in the paint. The deal is for 3-years at 47.4 million, which translates to about 15.8 mil per season. The only downside to this transaction is the fact that he is somewhat injury prone so his health will be an issue worth monitoring over the course of the season.
